Hello: I'm Norbert Mak.

I am a highly skilled wood-worker and family man who loves the rural way of life. I am based in Luckington; between Sherston and Badminton, but I work all over the country.

I have over ten years' experience in building with natural materials: please take a look at my portfolio of work.

I am a highly skilled and creative wood-worker. I make garden furniture and structures.

I design, build and maintain fences and jumps for Horse Eventing Trials at places like Gatcombe Park and Badminton.

I often work alone, or in teams put together by others. I have a trusted group of professionals from whom I can build teams to take on larger projects. I enjoy the challenges and variety of projects of all scales and enjoy creating simple objects like planters or bigger ones like tree houses or even turning a dead tree into a piece of garden sculpture. I can produce a thoroughly thought-through fencing solution: whatever you need, created with wood.

I am LANTRA-approved, holding a full chain-saw licence and a Rough-Terrain Telescopic Lift Trucks certificate. I am HGV licenced and am a qualified CPC driver.

I hold a Silver Professional Course-Builder Certificate from The British Eventing Organisation.

I am originally from Poznan in Poland where I studied Material processing technology at the University, earning a Masters degree.

”Norbert and his team did a tricky job — removing a dozen huge, rotten posts and replacing them — very swiftly and with minimal disruption. Norbert sourced the new posts and had the whole thing completed in just two days. Their work was tidy, efficient and inexpensive. We would highly recommend Norbert’s company.“
